Most condo owners fail to realize that the availability of green products to retrofit condos are available for most homeowners who want to do their small part in the greening of the many major cities we love to live in. From active tints that seemingly by magic, change shades depending on the suns brightness, like those amazing Ray-ban ambermatic sunglasses that turns amber as the sun is bright, lightening as it cools. Window tints are installed professionally with an exception for privacy screens that gives a pane of glass a smoked look giving you privacy if you wish to keep out those prying eyes. (more…)

6. Stackable Plastic Drawers – look for drawers that can be customized. If you would only have space for a couple of drawers per room or corner, you wouldn’t have to worry of where to place that huge chest of drawers. Plastic drawers are cheap and can be stacked according to the kind of space that can accommodate it.
7. Hooks – hooks are very helpful especially when placed in the strategic places of your house. Use hooks for your coats, hats, umbrellas and bags. You can also use hooks for your keys, mobile phone, and ID card.
8. Shoe organizer – shoe racks are bulky and won’t even hold all of your countless pairs, while cabinets don’t have proper ventilation and would be more useful holding other stuff. Opt for the hanging shoe organizer, one that can go over your door or wall.
9. TV Shelf – the television is an essential home appliance and even houses with the smallest spaces give room for one. use the opportunity to buy a shelved TV rack, one that can hold not only your TV but as well a books, DVDs, magazines and the like.
10. Bed frame with drawers – this works like that of under-the-bed storage and it won’t collect too much dust.

Car Condos

Car condos (also known as car condominiums) are most widely defined as purchased parking facilities. Although the term may apply simply to a designated spot in a private parking lot, usually it implies an individual, climate-controlled parking garage people can buy to store their exotic cars, motorcycles, boats and other items. Amenities include private bathrooms, concierge services, 24-hour security and clubhouses to entertain guests. Car condo developers are marketing their projects to the following demographic:
1. The classic car owner who wishes to store his/her vehicle in an optimum environment.
2. A person who has a secondary residence in a popular vacation destination and wishes to keep a car year-round at that destination.
3. A resident of an urban area where parking a car is exorbitantly expensive and where the car owner wishes a property interest in return for the large monthly parking outlay.
Car condo complexes offer a variety of service offerings from webcams where owners can peek at their vehicles over the Internet to private bathrooms for their owners to use.

One thing you will notice is that people have been accustomed to the usual way of living as far as old style homes are concerned. Condominium living is the modern style of living and apparently, some people are apprehensive since they feel shortchanged for it.

True enough, condominium living takes out some of the luxury you once enjoyed. You will not be able to move much considering condo units have some restrictions as far as space is concerned. But if you think about it, practical living may not need all the space you think you need as long as you are able to have a safe and peaceful location to stay in.

Do Not Overlook Small Furniture

When we design our homes, we normally want to get the large and antique ones so that the interior value of our homes will always be something to look forward to. Apparently, this does not always hold true.

Condominiums do not have the luxury of space. You have to be wise in placing the furniture you want to be in it. While some would hate it, you will be surprised at the type of available furniture at a smaller level if you look at it. It is really something that can bring out the best in homes if you look at it.
