boldcontrastsBold and bright colors are the best types of color schemes for bland spaces like condos and if your character is more of the adventurous type, then bold is in for you. Colors that complement each other on the opposite side of the color chart are seemingly vague yet once there works together to make a stunning combination. Like the flowers of spring, color brightens bland walls and ceilings but tend to diffuse light into patterns and shades of different hues. Love solid colors, then by all means use them, use bold colors on door jambs and the door itself to bring them into focus. Need to hide some undesirable feature of your home, like the closet where you store all your unneeded stuff, color it the same as the rest of the wall (it works for the oval office where two doors have the same color of the walls making it disappear).
Playing with the color scheme of your condo is one of the best and boldest statement you can give as clue of your personality. To soften corners and edges, place a few plants with bright flowers to take the focus away from them, you also get a lot of free oxygen and less carbon dioxide.
